The cause of allergies in your home

Invisible to the naked eye, house dust mites are one of the most common causes of year-round allergies. They trigger many troublesome symptoms and may also contribute to the development of allergic asthma. The highest concentration of dust mite allergens can be found in mattresses, duvets and pillows, carpets and rugs, upholstered furniture, and plush toys.

What are the symptoms of house dust mite allergy?

Runny nose

A chronic form of nasal inflammation, characterised by frequent sneezing, watery discharge, and a blocked nose sensation. Symptoms often worsen after exposure to high allergen levels, for example during the night or in the morning after waking up.

Allergic cough

A persistent, dry cough accompanied by a sensation of itching in the throat. Symptoms that interfere with sleep usually worsen at night. Sometimes, it is accompanied by episodes of shortness of breath.

Itching and skin irritation

An allergic reaction occurs after contact with dust mite allergens. In people with atopic dermatitis (AD), where the skin barrier is weakened, allergens may penetrate the skin, causing intense itching and rash.

Allergic bronchial asthma

A chronic inflammatory condition that may develop as a result of untreated or poorly controlled inhalant allergy. It is characterised by wheezing, breathing difficulties, and recurring attacks of dry coughing.

How does Allergoff® Spray work?

The formula safely reduces the amount of allergens in the air you breathe. It neutralizes and binds allergens, turning them into non-airborne particles that settle on surfaces. These bound allergen particles can then be removed during vacuum cleaning.

Apply Allergoff® Spray to textile surfaces where allergens accumulate, such as mattresses, duvets and pillows, upholstered furniture, carpets and floor coverings, curtains, plush toys, car seats and upholstery, and pet bedding.
